When you read as much as I do, books can often be predictable so I always get excited when a story breaks the mold and surprises me. ![]() There’s a lot of twists and turns and the story didn’t go at all the way I expected. ![]() This books tells the story of two women who lost their husbands and find their life in shambles. Thicker than Blood by Madeline Sheehan and Clarie C. If nothing else you’ll see just how toxic secrets can be to a couple and the healing power of letting someone in and learning to trust and rely on someone other than yourself – something I’m sure many of us struggle with. This MM paranormal romance novel is a bit of a slow burn that illustrates the power of trust and support in a relationships. It’s a unique read that I would recommend for anyone who enjoys romance and psychology. It’s got romance, suspense AND deals with mental health issues like depression which is always a plus in my mind. This book is incredibly engaging, I was hooked from the first page.
